Meet The Team!

Francesca Evans

After giving birth to my daughter via C-section in 2020, the doctor recommended I try Pilates. This incredible practice has since changed my life. Pilates has so many benefits, from activating the rest and digest nervous system, improving flexibilty, balance and strength, better blood circulation, to massaging internal organs and helping the digestive system. So much so that it's reduced my bloating symptoms from Crohn's Disease and slow bowel transit diagnosis. I trained to be an instructor (mat, reformer and pre and post natal qualification) to give others back their body confidence we tend to lose over the years, and fall back in love with the magnificent body we live in.

Laura Cain

I am an experienced Pilates and Yoga instructor. I first found my passion for Reformer and Mat Pilates after having my children, and fell in love with it when I realised how much it helped me recover and build strength following pregnancy and childbirth. I have always had a passion for fitness and health and to enable others to have a better understanding of their body, to move correctly and efficiently, not just in class, but in their daily life. Pre/post natal qualifed

Nicola Clarke-Irons

I trained at the London Pilates Academy, completing the functional reformer training programme and YMCA Level 3 Diploma in teaching Pilates (Practitioner) course. I have practiced yoga and pilates for many years but my passion for Pilates came after having children and experiencing back pain. Pilates completely changed how my back and body felt, enabling me to get back to all types of exercise I have always enjoyed. Prior to working in Pilates, I was a PE teacher and completed a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Essex Science at University of Essex. Away from teaching Pilates, I still enjoy other aspects of exercise in playing netball, doing gym based strength training and running, previously completing the London marathon.

Mimi Safia

I’m a passionate and dedicated Pilates teacher, qualified in both Reformer and Mat Pilates. My passion is helping people feel better in their bodies—whether that’s improving posture, relieving pain, or moving more efficiently. Ultimately, I want to help you feel confident, strong, and connected to your body, no matter where you’re starting from. When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me practicing Pilates myself or going for long walks by the sea with my dog. Pilates has been such a transformative practice for me, and I’m excited to share it with others!

Georgia Thomas

I fell in love with Pilates a few years ago while searching for a low-impact exercise to counterbalance my full-time office job. It quickly became my passion, leading me to earn my Level 3 Mat & Reformer qualification. I’ve experienced firsthand how Pilates can transform your mind, strength, and overall well-being, emphasising the mind-to-body connection. I tailor sessions to your unique needs—whether it’s improving posture, or moving more efficiently.

Outside the studio, I’m a proud dog mum to my Frenchie, Arlo, and you’ll often find me practicing Pilates or on the hunt for a new brunch spot. I can’t wait to be a part of your Pilates journey!

Lisa Shrubb

I have worked in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years and have always been passionate about health and well-being. I began my career as a gym and studio instructor, teaching a variety of classes, including Spin, Body Pump, and Kettlebells.

My journey with Yoga and Pilates started when I discovered their life changing benefits, and they quickly became a way of life. These practices have given me the tools to support both myself and others through movement, mindfulness, and connection to nature. In 2014 and 2015, I travelled to India to complete my 200-hour and 500 hour teacher training, returning to teach group classes in health clubs and yoga studios across Essex.

I love bringing an element of fun and playfulness to my classes, encouraging all abilities to practice. Beyond teaching, I have a deep passion for travel, nutrition, and the outdoors, which has led me to organise retreats in the UK, Portugal, Croatia, and Morocco.

Having taught Mat Pilates since 2013, I was eager to expand my knowledge. After trying Reformer Pilates, I was immediately hooked and decided to pursue training. The reformer offers incredible support for alignment, control, and precise movement, making it a fantastic tool for rehabilitation, strength, and overall body awareness.

I feel incredibly fortunate to share my knowledge and help others on their wellness journey!

Laura Paret

I am a YMCA Level 3 Mat Pilates and J Pilates trained reformer Pilates teacher. It has completely changed the way my body feels and moves.

Having trained in Ballet from a young age, I like to focus on posture, control, flow and precision in my classes. I aim to create a positive, upbeat and supportive atmosphere and really enjoy seeing the positive impact practicing Pilates has on anyone who tries it and the strength and many benefits it brings to both mind and body. Outside of teaching, I spend my time hiking, rollerblading and taking Barre classes.

I’ve been involved in health and fitness for a 10+ years, teaching aerobics, weight training, and various fitness classes for many years. My journey with Pilates began after I sustained a horse-riding injury. Through Pilates, I developed a deep appreciation for the strength, flexibility, and balance it helped me achieve.

My passion for health and fitness is as strong as ever. I’ve completed four London Marathons and still enjoy trail running, swimming, and weight training as part of my active lifestyle.
